LA CATRINA and the essence of her story goes deep into Mexican traditions and roots. The Aztecs worshipped a Goddess of Death, whom protected their departed loved ones, helping them into the next stages. This piece is all watercolor, embellished with a wood branch colored in the worlds Blackest Black and mirror paint along with real duck feathers.
