PERMANENT BROWS

NANO BROWS VS MICROBLADING

Both nano brows and microblading are a way to enhance the brow and give them volume by drawing on extra hairs. Both create hairlike strokes by implementing permanent makeup pigments into the skin. With Nano brows you use a tattoo machine vs microblading is done with a blade. With this blade you actually are “slicing the skin” in return you can’t keep cutting into the same strokes every touch up which are needed more frequently. Resulting in more trauma to the skin. Eventually your brows won’t have hair strokes they will look like you pencilled them in. Nano Brows  are not the same as MICROBLADING in fact Nano Brows can be done on any kin type, whereas MICROBLADING shouldn’t be done on oily skin. Why? This I because the hairlike strokes tend to blur when healed.

  • NANO BROWS

    WHAT ARE NANO BROWS?

Super thin hairlike strokes that resemble brow hair by utilizing a tattoo machine.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NANO BROWS AND MICROBLADING?

Both nano brows and microblading are a way to enhance the brow and give them volume by drawing on extra hairs. Both create hairlike strokes by implementing permanent makeup pigments into the skin. With Nano brows you use a tattoo machine vs microblading is done with a blade. Nano brows last longer too! IMAGINE THAT!

  • POWDER BROWS

Powder brow effect fills in thin brows with small dots rather than natural hair strokes, which is safer for sensitive or oily skin. This technique gives the eyebrows a powdered effect. Very similar to what they look like if you pencilled them in. There are several colors that I mix to suit your specific skin tone and style. They definitely last longer because they are more saturated and completely filled in giving you a “makeup look”.

  • COMBO BROWS

This is a combination of NANO STROKES and SHADING for a bolder look for those who like density. There are hair-like strokes from the beginning to the middle of the brow to give it a natural look, which then transitions into a powdered effect body and tail to give more density and fullness.

COLOR CORRECTION

This service is for those who have had permanent brows that have faded to a cool or warm undertone. Many artists fail to modify colors to fit the clients skin undertone and the brows heal with a blue/green or pink hue. Often poor aftercare can lead to unwanted healed results. This can be corrected with proper technique and pigment mixture. However, it can take multiple sessions before one can achieve the proper shade and then add target color such as brown, taupe, auburn, etc. In some extreme cases, I may recommend the client to opt for tattoo removal.

HEALING STAGES

DAY 1: Swelling will appear and eyebrows will be 50% darker and intense.

DAY 2-3: Scabbing will occur and you may experience itching.

DAY 4-7: Scabbing will start to flake off and it will appear that there is little color retention due to the masking by the epidermis. THIS IS COMPLETELY NORMAL.

DAY 8-40: The pigment will now solidify and will come to the surface!

At the 4 week mark a touch up session is done to perfect the brows.  NEVER before 4 weeks.
